Financial Analyst - Private Wealth Management

About the Role

Within our Private Wealth Management (PWM) division, we build and nurture relationships with high net worth individuals, their families, family offices, and foundations. Our goal is to support clients in accumulating and safeguarding their financial assets by formulating and executing long-term asset allocation plans tailored to their individual risk profiles. We provide access to innovative investment concepts along with comprehensive wealth management services, including private banking and trust services.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Private Wealth Advisors to support and implement wealth management strategies tailored for PWM clients.
• Prepare detailed marketing presentations targeting potential clients that highlight equity, fixed income, and alternative investment asset allocation components.
• Analyze equity and fixed income portfolios to assess risk and return characteristics.
• Conduct portfolio rebalancing transactions as needed.
• Research both internal and external investment products appropriate for client asset allocation strategies.
• Stay informed on the latest financial market developments and trends.
• Communicate Goldman Sachs research insights and market perspectives to Private Wealth Advisors.
• Coordinate with various investment management teams to meet client requirements.
• Assist with trading activities and provide support for client service and team operations.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree.
• Fluency in German is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a relevant financial or investment role is preferred.
• Proficiency to advanced skills using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under competing deadlines.
• Strong teamwork capabilities combined with a positive approach and solid work ethic.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to excel in a fast-paced working environment.
