Financial Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our international team in Dusseldorf, focusing on the DACH region. This role involves delivering insightful financial analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and aiding business leaders in making informed decisions backed by data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans specific to the DACH business units.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing budget versus actual figures, clearly communicating key differences.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses encompassing sales, cost structures, products, and customer segments.
• Prepare precise financial reports and performance dashboards for essential stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making in commercial activities through comprehensive data analysis and financial modeling.
• Support month-end closing processes, audits, and provide assistance for external reporting requirements.
• Work collaboratively with international finance teams, shared service centers, and commercial stakeholders.
• Identify and implement enhancements in financial processes and reporting for greater efficiency.
• Contribute to Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) finance operations.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Bring approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, or controlling roles.
• Demonstrate expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Exhibit advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities.
• Have experience within multinational corporations or shared service environments.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle JD Edwards is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Show a proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to work independently.
• Be fluent in both German and English languages.
