Financial Analysis Associate

Job Overview

We seek a strategic and proactive Associate to join our Planning and Analysis team in Mumbai. This role focuses on managing budgeting and forecasting activities along with preparing comprehensive management reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a conduit among Firm-wide Planning & Analysis (P&A), business lines, Functional Finance groups, and support units to deliver insightful reporting and financial analysis.
• Develop presentations, prepare detailed analyses, and supporting documentation for senior management and other key stakeholders; contribute to special projects as required.
• Lead the development and consolidation of qualitative and quantitative financial analyses including the annual budget and periodic forecast variance assessments.
• Design, maintain, and review financial models for both regular and on-demand analytical needs.
• Perform thorough investigations into critical issues affecting clients to identify root causes and recommend actionable solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely completion of recurring and ad-hoc financial initiatives.
• Build and nurture effective relationships with business stakeholders across the firm, including Functional Finance and business line teams.

• Team player with inquisitive nature and critical thinking skills, anticipating queries from clients and senior leadership.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Capability to foster collaborative relationships and demonstrate flexibility and strategic thinking.
• Academic credentials such as BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; professional certifications like CFA, CPA, or MBA are advantageous.
• Minimum three years of relevant Financial Planning and Analysis experience, ideally within the financial services sector.
