Role Overview
The position is a full-time on-site Field Service Technician role situated in Doha, Qatar. The technician will be tasked with diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various equipment and machinery at client locations. Daily responsibilities include conducting equipment diagnostics, performing scheduled maintenance, addressing technical problems, and working closely with clients to ensure systems operate efficiently. Additional duties include strict compliance with safety regulations, maintaining accurate work documentation, and offering technical support and training to clients and team members when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
- Competence in routine and preventive maintenance practices to uphold equipment reliability and safety standards.
- Strong ability to use diagnostic instruments and interpret technical manuals and engineering schematics.
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical information and conducting training or guidance.
- Flexibility to travel and perform on-site tasks as required by project demands.
- Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with established procedures and regulations.
- Background in engineering, mechanics, or technical disciplines, preferably holding a diploma or degree.
- Experience in sectors such as energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure is beneficial.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with positive attitude and capability to work independently or collaborate in high-pressure scenarios.
