Field Operator (Patroller)

Job Overview

The role involves performing continuous inspections within designated plant areas to verify that equipment operates efficiently and disruptions are kept to a minimum.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute assigned field operations and provide accurate feedback to the Central Control Room (CCR).
• Maintain cleanliness of all processing machinery on a regular schedule.
• Coordinate with CCR operators to ensure smooth and continuous operations aiming to minimize downtime and equipment failure.
• Inspect equipment within your production area, documenting any issues requiring immediate attention.
• Report any critical equipment failures promptly to CCR Operators and Shift Coordinators for swift resolution.
• Organize and actively participate in all cleaning exercises relating to your assigned sections.
• Ensure that housekeeping tasks within your area are completed promptly.
• Work closely with Shift Coordinators and Section Heads to help meet production goals.

Educational Background and Experience

• Possession of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or a comparable qualification in any field.
• At least 2 years of relevant practical experience.
• Trade Test level III, II, or I with a minimum of 6 years of experience.

Required Competencies

• Fundamental understanding of cement manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge regarding production machinery and their roles.
• Good grasp of material flow processes within production lines.
