Role Overview

As OKSI expands its facilities nationwide, this key role is responsible for comprehensive facility management across multiple sites. The position requires hands-on leadership in overseeing operations, maintenance, vendor coordination, and workspace planning across various locations, involving frequent travel to ensure consistent and efficient facility performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily facility operations at various locations, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep.
• Arrange servicing of critical building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting.
• Oversee relationships with vendors providing janitorial, landscaping, waste management, utility, and repair services.
• Facilitate facility improvements, workspace modifications, and infrastructure projects based on site needs.
• Organize workspace configurations, furniture arrangements, and accommodate team expansion requirements.
• Maintain inventories of facility equipment, supplies, and coordinate procurement efforts.
• Monitor all sites for building safety and promptly address any concerns.
• Track facility-related expenses, including maintenance, utilities, repairs, and upgrades.
• Respond to emergencies and facility disruptions by managing vendor interventions onsite or remotely.
• Conduct regular travel between locations to perform site assessments and ensure operational consistency.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience managing facilities, building operations, or infrastructure maintenance.
• Proven ability to coordinate preventative maintenance programs.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Experienced in managing vendor and service provider partnerships.
• Exemplary organizational and project coordination skills for multiple dispersed locations.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and effective communication with remote and onsite teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and facility management tracking tools.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the United States.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Background working in engineering, laboratory, or specialized technical settings.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments.
• Knowledge of office expansion logistics and workspace planning.
• Credentials such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) certifications.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range from $92,000 to $125,208, with starting pay typically between minimum and midpoint based on qualifications and budget.

Additional Requirements
