Role Overview

The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operations is a senior leader responsible for steering the operational strategy, enhancing business performance, and driving organizational efficiency in alignment with corporate goals. Reporting to the CEO, board, or president, this role oversees broad operational functions including production, supply chain, logistics, quality control, customer operations, facilities, service delivery, and regional businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement enterprise-level operational strategies across business units and geographic regions.
• Manage daily operations ensuring consistent alignment with corporate objectives.
• Enhance operational productivity, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.
• Define and enforce corporate operational standards, key performance indicators, and accountability frameworks.
• Drive operational discipline to achieve execution excellence.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term business strategies and translate them into operational plans.
• Support mergers, expansions, and integrate new business operations effectively.
• Lead modernization and operational transformation programs, including evaluating new technologies.
• Manage operational budgets, capital investments, and cost control initiatives to optimize profitability.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs; support forecasting and revenue growth plans.
• Champion continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to improve workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
• Oversee supply chain, production, logistics, and service delivery operations, optimizing resource utilization and reliability.
• Develop and lead high-performance leadership teams, fostering innovation and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and industry standards; manage risk, governance, and business continuity strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• More than 18 years of progressive leadership in operations, business transformation, supply chain, manufacturing, service delivery, or related executive roles.
• Proven success managing complex, large-scale multi-functional operations.
• Experience collaborating with CEOs, boards, investors, and senior executives.
• Strong expertise in financial oversight, operational strategy, and organizational transformation.
• Experience leading large teams and global business functions preferred.
• Track record of improving efficiency, profitability, scalability, and organizational performance.
