Executive Audit Compliance

About the Role

NIIT is seeking a diligent and passionate Executive Audit Compliance professional to join the team in Gurugram, working onsite. This role offers a great opportunity for recent graduates or professionals early in their career with interests in cybersecurity, data protection, compliance, and information security. The selected candidate will contribute to supporting information security practices, ensuring adherence to data protection laws, and collaborating across departments to enhance security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, establish, and update IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Constantly monitor systems to identify vulnerabilities, security threats, and breaches.
• Perform security audits, risk evaluations, and vulnerability testing to maintain secure operations.
• Assist with both internal and external ISO 27001 audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
• Manage data inventory including classification, retention, and control of data access.
• Support privacy compliance efforts and respond to privacy-related issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain secure data management practices.
• Review security and data protection clauses within third-party agreements to ensure compliance.

Eligibility and Requirements

• B.Tech degree holders specializing in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related fields are eligible.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in information security, cybersecurity, data protection, or IT compliance is required.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), risk assessment methodologies, security audits, and data privacy concepts is preferred.
• Professional certifications like CIPP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor will be considered advantageous.
• Candidates able to join immediately and willing to sign an 18-month surety agreement bond are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in information security and cybersecurity principles.
• Understanding and practical knowledge of ISO 27001 standards.
• Background in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
• Ability to perform risk and vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Comprehension of data protection laws such as GDPR and DPDP.
• Experience implementing and monitoring information security policies.

Additional Information
