Role Summary

The company seeks a meticulous and experienced Estimator specializing in infrastructure and building projects to oversee cost estimation activities during the tender phase. This role demands accurate review of tender documents, detailed quantity take-offs, bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation, and cost breakdown development to facilitate competitive and compliant bid submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly review and analyze tender documents.
• Develop cost estimates based on BOQs and internal calculations.
• Decompose each BOQ item into essential resources including materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate overhead expenses based on project location, duration, and contract terms.
• Create comparative analyses for major materials and subcontractors.
• Request clarifications or additional information as necessary.
• Finalize and ensure punctual submission of cost estimates.
• Estimate variation orders on existing company projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in estimation for infrastructure or building projects.
• Proficient with construction estimating software and tools for accurate cost estimation and BOQ preparation.
