Role Overview

We seek an enthusiastic early-career Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team based in New Jersey. This long-term contract position involves primarily onsite work with four days at the office and one day remote each week. The role is tailored for individuals with an academic background in accounting, economics, or finance looking to build practical experience in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine financial and accounting tasks including reviewing data, organizing documentation, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets, reconcile financial data, and analyze figures utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Support budgeting processes, accrual handling, and core accounting activities to produce timely financial outcomes.
• Contribute to auditing and reporting by collecting necessary documents and verifying details.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams in a lean setting, emphasizing reliability, consistency, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar disciplines.
• Entry-level experience or strong theoretical knowledge of financial analysis and accounting support roles.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel to organize, calculate, and report financial data.
• Understanding of budgeting, accrual accounting, auditing assistance, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Capacity to learn swiftly, manage demanding workloads during peak seasons, and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Adept at operating in a predominantly onsite work model and functioning effectively within a small team environment.
