Enterprise Communications Architect

Role Overview

The Enterprise Communications Architect is entrusted with establishing and overseeing the strategic architecture for enterprise communication systems encompassing data networks, transmission infrastructures, and satellite communication domains. This position drives the design of scalable, secure, and forward-looking communication frameworks aligned with business goals and technology directives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update comprehensive architecture frameworks, standards, and reference designs for enterprise communication platforms.
• Formulate target-state architectures and develop strategic roadmaps focused on enterprise data, transmission networks, and satellite communication systems.
• Govern architecture practices and review solution designs to ensure consistency with established enterprise standards and industry best practices.
• Lead technology evaluation, selection processes, and oversee integration of communication technologies.
• Guarantee communication architectures meet criteria for scalability, reliability, security, and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, infrastructure, cybersecurity teams, and business units to align technical solutions with organizational objectives.
• Provide expert guidance and architectural insights for complex communication projects.
• Analyze current communication environments to identify improvements and modernization opportunities.
• Develop and enforce design principles, design patterns, and governance mechanisms for communication systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, or similar fields.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional certifications related to enterprise architecture, networking, or telecommunications are desirable.

Experience

• Minimum of 15 years in enterprise communications architecture, network architecture, or related technology areas.
• Demonstrated experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise communication networks.
• In-depth knowledge of data networks, transmission systems, and satellite communication technologies.
• Proven track record in developing architectural standards, reference models, and strategic technology roadmaps.
