Role Summary
The Employee Dining Supervisor will be responsible for running the daily operations of the employee dining restaurant, ensuring colleagues receive a clean, efficient, welcoming, and hygienic dining experience. The role includes supervising the team, coordinating with culinary staff, maintaining food safety and quality standards, and supporting colleague satisfaction through consistent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the employee dining restaurant to ensure smooth, professional, and efficient service.
- Guide, support, and inspire the dining team to create a positive experience for colleagues.
- Check food quality, presentation, freshness, and portioning so brand standards are consistently met.
- Work with the culinary team to keep food replenished on time and menus executed properly.
- Keep the dining space, buffet areas, service stations, and equipment clean, orderly, and hygienic.
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and health and safety rules.
- Carry out routine inspections to confirm that cleanliness and operational standards remain high.
- Prepare staff schedules, manage daily manpower needs, and track attendance for proper coverage.
- Coach, train, and assess team members through ongoing feedback and development support.
- Track operating stock, equipment, and disposables, and arrange replenishment when needed.
- Help control costs by reducing waste and encouraging efficient use of resources.
- Respond quickly and professionally to colleague feedback, requests, and concerns.
- Maintain accurate operational records such as temperature logs, cleaning sheets, and compliance documents.
- Support themed dining activities, seasonal promotions, and colleague engagement initiatives.
- Partner with People & Culture, Culinary, and Engineering teams to keep the dining restaurant running effectively.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management to support department and hotel operations.
Requirements
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations is required, ideally in employee dining, staff cafeteria, or restaurant operations within a luxury hotel.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build engagement, and develop colleagues.
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Well-developed organizational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities with a strong service mindset for both colleagues and guests.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in an operational environment.
- English fluency is mandatory; other languages are beneficial.
