EHS & ESG Manager

Overview

We are looking for a committed and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Manager to lead the development and implementation of safety, sustainability, and ESG initiatives. This full-time position is based in Bengaluru and requires a minimum of five years' experience in industries such as construction, heavy engineering, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety management practices encompassing workplace, industrial, and contractor environments to foster a zero-incident culture across all sites.
• Ensure adherence to all occupational health and safety regulations, statutory requirements, and internal safety policies.
• Form and lead a Safety Committee, conducting regular training, safety awareness programs, and workplace hygiene inspections.
• Perform continual risk assessments and safety audits, establishing preventive actions against hazardous conditions.
• Develop and oversee ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability metrics to support corporate disclosure requirements.
• Implement strategies for carbon emissions measurement, tracking, and reduction to enhance sustainability performance.
• Manage sanitation, waste, and environmental compliance projects aligning with sustainable operational goals.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in EHS and ESG sectors, preferably within construction, heavy engineering, manufacturing, automobile, or real estate and facility management industries.
• Educational background including graduate or postgraduate degrees in Environmental Management, Health & Safety, Engineering (B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech), or business management degrees focusing on Environmental Management or Sustainability (MBA/PGDM).
• Fluency in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu is mandatory to effectively communicate within the regional teams.
