Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive E-Commerce Executive to oversee and enhance our online marketplace activities. This role involves managing product details, processing orders, controlling inventory, supporting customers, and tracking sales results on various e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and update product listings on platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and company websites.
- Add new products and revise product descriptions, prices, images, and specifications.
- Monitor stock levels and work closely with warehouse teams to avoid inventory shortages.
- Handle order processing, including returns, exchanges, and refunds, ensuring smooth customer experiences.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve any complaints.
- Collaborate with logistics and courier services to guarantee efficient order delivery.
- Track sales performance and manage promotional campaigns on marketplaces.
- Prepare and share sales reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Ensure all marketplace rules are followed and maintain the health of seller accounts.
- Analyze competitors' pricing and market developments to boost sales outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related area.
- Between one and three years of experience in e-commerce operations or marketplace administration.
- Familiarity with major e-commerce platforms and seller interfaces.
- Competency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on problem resolution.
- Good attention to detail and capability to manage multiple assignments.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and online sales data analytics is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing accounts on Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, or similar marketplaces.
- Understanding of inventory control systems and ERP software.
- Insights into product catalog management and marketplace advertising strategies.
Compensation
Entry-level candidates can expect a monthly salary from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000, while experienced professionals may earn ₹25,000 to over ₹50,000 depending on experience and job duties.
