Overview
Caridocs is hiring a dependable and well-organized Document Processing Assistant to support its Jamaican operations. This is an entry-level opportunity suited to someone who is reliable, comfortable with hands-on field duties, and able to coordinate with government ministries, public agencies, and approved service providers.
The selected person will act as the local contact in Jamaica and will manage the submission, collection, and transportation of official paperwork on behalf of clients. The position reports to the company’s main office in Antigua & Barbuda.
Key duties
- Act as the main contact for Caridocs activities in Jamaica.
- Take applications to the appropriate government offices and agencies.
- Check completed documents carefully and confirm they are accurate before they are submitted.
- Assemble and arrange client application files and packets.
- Visit government offices and approved service providers to complete document-processing tasks.
- Pick up documents from courier providers.
- Pack, send, and securely dispatch completed documents to Antigua & Barbuda using approved courier services.
- Make sure documents are handled safely, tracked properly, and delivered to the correct destination.
- Share timely status updates on applications that are still pending.
- Protect the confidentiality of all client records and paperwork.
- Carry out other administrative and document-processing tasks as needed.
