Internship Overview
This internship spans 4 to 6 months and involves supporting the Digital Strategy Office (DSO) of Panasonic Asia Pacific. The intern will assist in shaping and communicating digital strategies, benchmarking externally, and tracking digital priorities across the region. Working closely with the CIO Office throughout APAC, the intern will help transform strategic ideas into structured deliverables such as analyses, dashboards, and executive briefings. This provides valuable exposure to digital governance, portfolio planning, and executive communications in a multinational corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desk research on emerging digital and technology trends like cloud computing, data & AI, automation, and cybersecurity, and generate synthesized insights for internal use.
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of strategic materials including initiative one-pagers, capability summaries, and overarching roadmap visualizations.
- Assist with strategy workshop preparations by drafting agendas, documenting discussion outcomes, decisions, and next steps.
- Support the consolidation of business demands and digital initiatives into an organized portfolio tracker.
- Perform basic portfolio analyses—assessing effort versus impact, estimating costs, identifying dependencies and risks—and prepare summary views for stakeholder reviews.
- Maintain segmentation frameworks such as Run/Grow/Transform and support reporting on investment mix and demand.
- Prepare materials for governance meetings, collate inputs, and track action items with responsible owners for follow-up.
- Help document and update key processes and templates related to intake, prioritization, and reporting cadence.
- Track KPIs for strategic programs focusing on status, milestones, risks, and issues, ensuring data consistency and quality.
- Draft and polish executive-ready content including talking points, briefs, and slide narratives based on inputs.
- Maintain clear meeting notes and action logs to ensure visibility and follow-through.
- Coordinate inputs across markets and teams to consolidate coherent updates and reporting packages.
- Develop and manage simple dashboards or scorecards using Excel, PowerPoint, and where applicable, Power BI to visualize initiative progress and portfolio insights.
- Support periodic reporting by gathering inputs, ensuring consistency and alignment, and highlighting significant changes or challenges.
Candidate Profile
Education: Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical thinking that can clarify ambiguous problems and produce concise insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ease in creating executive-level presentations and summaries.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel functions including pivot tables and charting; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
- High attention to detail, strong commitment to task completion, and well-maintained document and version control protocols.
- Adept at collaborating with diverse stakeholders across multiple countries, time zones, and cultures.

- Proactive and organized, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines effectively.
