Role Overview

We are seeking a Digital Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping our product and brand identity. This collaborative position involves crafting intuitive user experiences, elevating our visual design language, and developing scalable systems that span our mobile application and marketing initiatives.

In close partnership with Product, Engineering, Marketing teams, and the Head of Design, you will address complex user challenges, bring innovative features to fruition, and ensure every interaction with Franki is thoughtful and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

Design user-centric experiences for Franki's mobile and web platforms.
Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and refined high-fidelity designs from ideation through deployment.
Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and deliver standout product features.
Create and maintain scalable Figma component libraries and comprehensive design systems.
Produce visual assets that reinforce the Franki brand across product, marketing, and customer interfaces.
Develop motion graphics, micro-interactions, and animations to enrich user engagement.
Collaborate with Marketing to generate creative materials for campaigns, social media, presentations, and advertisements.
Lead design critiques, explain design decisions, and coordinate with stakeholders.
Establish and refine design standards, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
Provide mentorship to junior and contract designers, nurturing a cooperative design culture.
Stay informed about emerging design trends, AI-enhanced creative tools, and evolving UX methodologies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years in product, UX/UI, or digital design roles.
An impressive portfolio demonstrating strong product, visual, and interaction design capabilities.
Expertise in Figma and experience building component-driven design systems.
Background designing consumer mobile or web applications.
Solid grasp of user-centered design, accessibility standards, responsive layouts, and information architecture.
Proven collaboration with Product Managers and Software Engineers during product development.
Strong skills in visual communication, presentations, and creative problem-solving.
Ability to independently lead design initiatives.
Enthusiasm for crafting sophisticated, scalable user experiences.

Additional Preferred Experience

Design work on marketplace, social, or consumer-focused mobile apps.
Experience in startup or fast-growing technology environments.
Familiarity with motion design software such as After Effects, Lottie, or Rive.
Knowledge of AI-powered design tools and innovative workflows.
Expertise in brand system development and marketing design assets.
Experience mentoring or leading design teams.

Compensation
