Join Domino's as a Delivery Expert where your role is crucial to making us the best pizza delivery company worldwide. We offer flexible scheduling for both part-time and full-time shifts, allowing you to pick the hours that suit your lifestyle. Drivers typically earn over $20 hourly including wages, tips, and mileage reimbursement, which is paid daily for tips and mileage, while wages are paid biweekly.
Job Details
Choose between using your personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle (requirements include being 21+, a clean driving record, at least two years of driving experience). Our advanced delivery technology supports safe and efficient service, translating to quicker deliveries and higher earnings.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver orders within assigned areas using your own vehicle or a company vehicle under safe driving practices.
- Navigate and deliver to various terrains and multi-story buildings, sometimes climbing up to 5+ flights of stairs carrying pizzas and beverages.
- Carry out in-store tasks such as pizza assembly, ingredient stocking, and maintaining workstations requiring bending, reaching, hand coordination, and use of pizza preparation tools.
- Operate within varying temperatures and work environments, including exposure to food odors, hot surfaces, and mechanical equipment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record confirmed by a Motor Vehicle Report.
- Pass a background check and have valid vehicle insurance if using a personal car.
- Capable of reading maps, navigating delivery routes, and using good judgment under pressure.
- Ability to follow instructions, handle repetitive tasks, work independently or collaboratively, and maintain high quality and customer service standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Exposure to weather variations and temperature changes within store and during deliveries.
- Engagement in physical activities including walking, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and manual dexterity required for pizza preparation and delivery.
