Role Overview

Join Linktree's Business Analytics team as a Data Analyst, where you will collaborate at the nexus of product development, growth strategies, and leadership decision-making. Your mission: transform extensive data streams from millions of creators and billions of users into actionable insights that guide product features, audience targeting, and overall growth priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate closely with Product teams as the dedicated analyst to assess opportunities, support product launches, evaluate experiments, and ensure decisions are data-driven.
Lead comprehensive analyses—define questions with stakeholders, develop SQL queries, model data appropriately, create visualizations, and deliver actionable recommendations.
Create and improve dashboards and self-service tools (such as Hex or Amplitude) for stakeholders’ weekly use, adapting them as business needs evolve.
Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to precisely define and document core product and business metrics, standardizing interpretations across Linktree.
Present in-depth analytical findings in clear, accessible language suitable for non-technical audiences including PMs, marketers, and executives through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Maintain high standards of data integrity by advocating for reproducible queries, version-controlled analyses, and clear metric definitions daily.

Candidate Profile

Possess 2 to 3 years of professional experience as a data, business, or product analyst supporting fast-paced consumer or B2B products.
Proficient with SQL, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and capable of shaping event-level data into meaningful stakeholder insights. Experience with Python (pandas) or dbt is advantageous.
Experienced using modern data warehouse platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and BI/visualization tools such as Looker, Mode, or Tableau.
Skilled at translating ambiguous business problems into scoped analyses and delivering clear recommendations rather than mere charts.
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous environments and motivated by impact on tangible product decisions.
Eligible to work from offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne on a hybrid schedule, or fully remote in specified regions.

Compensation and Benefits

Targeted base salary range: $160,000 - $170,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles; actual offers depend on location, experience, and scope.
