About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join a growing Data & AI team at a respected company based in Manchester or Leeds, with a hybrid working model requiring three days in the office per week. The position offers a competitive salary package up to £65,000 annually plus bonuses and exceptional benefits. Job Responsibilities

This role goes beyond traditional dashboard creation. You will be tasked with transforming complex datasets into actionable business recommendations to assist stakeholders in understanding not just the data's current state, but also the causal factors and recommended actions. You will collaborate across multiple departments to extract insights, impact decision-making processes, and facilitate commercial success through data analysis.

Candidate Requirements

Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages.
Experience delivering practical insights and strategic recommendations based on data.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Capability to convey data findings as persuasive business narratives.
Analytical thinker with a solid foundation in statistics.
Experience handling medium to large data volumes.
Demonstrated track record as a commercial Data Analyst.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in Financial Services or similarly regulated sectors.
Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent.
