Role Overview

As the Customer Service / Operations Coordinator, you will be the initial point of contact for our customers, managing phone calls, emails, and online enquiries. Your key responsibility will be to accurately understand and triage customer needs across a diverse range of over 18 service lines, including skip bins, grease traps, and farm waste pickups. You'll work closely with multiple operations coordinators and be based at our Bomen Road office, collaborating directly with the operational team to ensure smooth workflows and prompt resolution of requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming communications including calls, emails, and web queries as the primary customer interface.
• Quickly develop expertise on an extensive variety of service offerings to effectively address diverse customer inquiries.
• Apply sound judgement to handle suitable enquiries yourself and escalate appropriately to other coordinators.
• Maintain accuracy to ensure no service request is overlooked or delayed.
• Collaborate closely with field staff and operate from the central office location.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service with preference for telephone-based roles.
• Proficiency and adaptability in computer usage and learning new systems.
• Ability to remain composed and efficient during high-volume call periods.
