Curriculum Developer - 2 Hour Learning Model (Remote)

About the Role

As a Curriculum Developer for the 2 Hour Learning model, you will be responsible for maintaining and advancing this innovative system remotely by leveraging AI-generated data to enhance student mastery and learning velocity.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed academic data reports and conduct thorough analyses to identify problems, detect anomalies, and implement timely corrective actions within 48 hours.
• Conduct prompt intervention calls and follow-up coaching sessions to remove learning obstacles, differentiate conceptual misunderstandings from simple errors, and keep students motivated.
• Evaluate and integrate new educational tools and resources, and prototype AI and large language model solutions to improve instructional techniques and resolve specific challenges.
• Collaborate with leadership to continuously enhance tools, reporting dashboards, and proficiency standards as the AI tutor platform evolves.

What the Role Does Not Involve

• Participating in lengthy meetings or preparing generic presentations without measurable outcomes.
• Traditional tasks such as grading assignments, designing conventional lesson plans, or managing standard education programs, as the focus is on AI and innovation.
• Working only at a strategic level without hands-on involvement or being limited to repetitive tasks; this role requires active engagement and adaptability.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in data science or related roles within education, EdTech, or learner support involving both analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, filtering) for data management.
• Strong emotional intelligence with excellent communication and a coaching approach suitable for children.
• Demonstrated ability to create workflows and automations using AI technologies.
• At least one year of experience working directly with students in grades K through 8.
• Availability to work mandatory core hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time, Monday to Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in learning science, pedagogical theories, or proven achievement in improving educational outcomes through evidence-based approaches.
• Familiarity with generative AI, prompt engineering, and foundational programming skills (such as Python or JavaScript) for interacting with AI APIs.

Employment Details

This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week with immediate start. Employment is through an independent contractor agreement with Crossover acting as Contractor of Record. The compensation for this position is $30 USD per hour, which equates to an annual salary of $60,000 USD based on 40 hours per week and 50 working weeks per year. Payments are issued weekly.
