Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Manage all credit and accounts receivable operations for the hotel.
- Evaluate and approve credit applications in accordance with company guidelines.
- Perform credit checks on corporate, government, and travel agency accounts.
- Initiate follow-ups on outstanding payments and ensure timely collection.
- Analyze aging reports and implement efficient collection methods.
- Ensure accurate invoicing for groups, events, long-term guests, and corporate clients.
- Verify all supporting documents and address any billing discrepancies by collaborating with relevant departments.
- Maintain precise and compliant credit records and documentation.
- Prepare credit reports, reconciliations, and month-end financial summaries.
- Provide necessary documentation to support internal and external audit processes.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office, Sales, Events, and Finance teams.
- Communicate effectively with clients about billing inquiries, payments, and credit terms.
- Foster and sustain positive relationships with clients and business partners.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel credit management, accounts receivable, or finance, preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Deep knowledge of credit procedures, billing, and collections.
- Exceptional accuracy, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Property Management Systems (PMS), accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.
