Credit Controller

Overview

Altum Consulting is collaborating with a life sciences company to recruit an experienced Credit Controller for an initial three-month contract. This role is embedded in a dynamic, customer-focused environment where providing an outstanding B2C experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee credit control procedures including following up overdue payments via telephone.
• Address customer queries and resolve payment-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accurate maintenance of customer records.
• Actively pursue outstanding payments while sustaining strong customer relationships.
• Spot opportunities to enhance processes to improve controls and operational efficiency.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and related reporting tasks as needed.

Skills and Experience

• Two to three years of credit control or accounts receivable experience, preferably within a B2C context.
• Strong skills in reconciliation with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication abilities capable of balancing effective collections with a superior customer experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail and robust organizational capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable platforms.

Additional Information

This position offers an immediate start on an initial three-month contractual basis.
