Role Overview

The Credentialing Manager positioned in Kochi will manage the complete credentialing and re-credentialing workflow for clinicians and therapy providers. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting credentialing requests to payers and regulatory agencies, maintaining up-to-date provider records, and ensuring adherence to compliance standards and deadlines. The manager will work closely with clinical, operational, and billing departments to address credentialing challenges, verify professional licenses and certifications, and assist with onboarding new providers.

Key Duties

• Oversee the entire credentialing and re-credentialing cycle for healthcare providers.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor credentialing applications with payers and regulatory bodies.
• Keep provider documentation current and verify credentials and license statuses.
• Coordinate with internal teams to troubleshoot credentialing issues and support onboarding.
• Track expiration dates and update internal databases accordingly.
• Respond to inquiries from payers and generate credentialing status reports for leadership review.
• Contribute to improving processes and developing standardized credentialing procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience handling provider credentialing, payer enrollment, and re-credentialing, ideally within healthcare or therapy services.
• Proficiency in data management and credentialing or practice management software tools.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance related to licensing, certifications, and payer contracts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills supporting interactions with clinicians, families, payers, and internal team members.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Kochi and effectively collaborate with teams across different locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline; credentialing or compliance certifications advantageous.
• Experience in pediatric or behavioral health contexts is favorable, with a commitment to family-centric care.
