Job Overview

We seek a reliable driver/operator to handle company vehicles, ensuring a courteous and efficient delivery and pickup service for packages. The role involves verifying shipments for FedEx service compliance and carrying out related customer support activities. The driving duties are limited to vehicles not regulated under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required, suitable for entry-level candidates.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a state-issued driver's license held for a minimum of one year without lapses, suspensions, or interruptions.
• The ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs, and to move heavier items with proper equipment or assistance.
• Good interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English sufficient for understanding traffic signs, interacting with traffic safety officials, and responding to official inquiries in line with FMCSA guidance.
• Must hold the appropriate vehicle license for the assigned vehicle type.
• Maintain a neat appearance due to regular customer contact.

Working Conditions

• This is a non-safety-sensitive role not governed by FMCSA regulations.
• Employees are expected to maintain constant vigilant and safe working habits.
• Standard work schedule is Monday through Saturday, with the day off to be determined.
