About the Role & Team
Join our London-based team in Hammersmith as a Corporate Communications Manager on a 7-month fixed-term contract beginning mid-September 2026. Reporting directly to the Corporate Communications Director, you will spearhead corporate public relations campaigns that enhance Disney's reputation and generate both owned and earned media coverage for flagship brand moments such as the holiday advert and Week of Wishes. Your daily responsibilities will include media relations, managing issues, and executing integrated campaigns connecting with fans across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compelling brand stories using earned media and digital channels, aligning with marketing priorities such as the Christmas campaign.
- Lead and design corporate PR campaigns for significant brand initiatives including holiday adverts and CSR projects like the Week of Wishes.
- Execute high-impact communication campaigns across the UK and EMEA markets, ensuring brand consistency while supporting localization efforts; manage agency partnerships.
- Maintain strong relationships with consumer, business, and trade media in the UK.
- Collaborate closely with teams across marketing, CSR, Disney+, studios, and consumer products.
- Support crisis and issues management by acting as deputy to the Corporate Communications Director; develop messaging and media strategies for emerging issues.
- Work alongside executives to deliver stakeholder engagement strategies, including organizing distinctive Disney events.
- Lead the preparation of messaging, speechwriting, and audiovisual content for UK and EMEA leadership speaker engagements.
- Set campaign KPIs, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and apply insights to optimize future initiatives.
- Oversee budget management, maintain trackers, and secure resources to support PR activities.
- Coordinate quarterly communications summits to exchange best practices and streamline efforts across EMEA markets.
- Potential travel may be required depending on business needs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Passion for entertainment with a strong grasp of effective corporate campaign outcomes.
- Established experience in consumer and corporate communications, ideally at Senior Account Director level or higher for agency backgrounds.
- Exceptional writing skills across multiple formats including press releases, speeches, messaging, and strategy documents, with an understanding of style nuances.
- Expertise in providing strategic communication advice internally, focusing on what resonates in earned media.
- Proven success leading earned media campaigns end-to-end, with demonstrable results in securing coverage.
- Strategic thinker who challenges conventional approaches and innovates to maximize campaign impact.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills paired with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience managing crisis communications, from planning to live media handling while engaging senior stakeholders.
- Leadership capabilities including mentoring junior team members and managing agency collaborations effectively.
- Preferred experience includes in-house communications within streaming or media companies, though it is not mandatory.
