Contractor Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Become a key contributor at RAC Roadside by supporting the network of country contractors who provide outstanding roadside assistance to over one million RAC members throughout Western Australia.

As a member of the Country Relationship team, your duties will include nurturing strong partnerships with regional contractors, tracking operational effectiveness, and ensuring all services comply with RAC's stringent safety and quality standards.

This position suits an experienced operations specialist who excels at relationship-building, problem-solving, and fostering ongoing enhancements in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain productive relationships with a designated portfolio of regional contractor partners and internal stakeholders.
• Track and evaluate contractor performance against contract terms, service levels, and key performance indicators.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, contractual terms, and safety requirements by contractors.
• Address operational challenges and efficiently resolve disputes involving contractors.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives across the contractor network.
• Identify and analyze operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Conduct required site visits to contractor locations throughout Western Australia.
• Prepare detailed reports and keep precise records to support business objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Professional experience in contractor management, relationship management, or operational delivery roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contractor operational models and service delivery methodologies.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, capable of establishing trust both internally and externally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates high levels of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office and relevant business information systems.
• Willingness to travel across Western Australia roughly once monthly, with advance notice and flexibility in scheduling.
• Possession of a current Western Australian Driver's Licence is mandatory.
• Possession of a Diploma in Business or a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is advantageous but not required.
