What You Will Do

- Handle assigned projects independently with little day-to-day direction.
- Partner closely with internal teams such as Art Directors, Show Directors, Walt Disney Imagineering, and Marketing.
- Contribute creative support for non-entertainment teams across different business areas within The Walt Disney Company.
- Develop effective working relationships with clients, vendors, and other support functions.
- Support projects ranging from small-scale experiences to large, complex productions.
- Estimate the labor needed to complete assigned work.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the entertainment industry, specifically in show development and live show operations, including drafting ground plans, detail drawings, schematics, 3D visuals, and related materials.
- Strong hand-drawing and sketching ability.
- Broad command of art styles, from line art through fully rendered illustration.
- Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Deep familiarity with Disney characters and the ability to keep artwork on-model and consistent with brand standards.
- Consistent effort to stay informed about current industry trends.
- Availability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using 3D modeling tools.
- Background in animation and character design.
- Ability to speak additional languages is considered an advantage.
Education
A college degree, or equivalent prior experience, in Theater Arts, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Graphic Arts with a focus on live show entertainment is preferred.
