Key Responsibilities

  • Apply several layers of fiber or material to forms, ensuring each layer adheres properly to build up the desired shape, strength, and thickness.
  • Smooth and position each layer correctly to prevent voids, wrinkles, or contamination.
  • Interpret work orders and written instructions for specific composite builds and follow procedures accurately.
  • Perform composite bagging processes and, when necessary, cure parts using a press or autoclave.
  • Inspect finished products to verify quality and record results as per manufacturing protocols.
  • Maintain safety standards throughout the work area.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent credential is required.
  • Less than one year of related experience; candidates new to the field are welcome.
  • Eligibility for a valid driver’s license in compliance with company policies.

Desired Skills & Additional Factors

  • Comfort and experience using power tools and shop machinery.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and interpret blueprints.
  • Physically able to lift loads up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Self-driven with a sense of responsibility for assigned duties.
  • Understanding of basic math calculations.
  • General computer proficiency for documentation and simple data retrieval.
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are advantageous.
  • A commitment to high ethical standards and patient-centered care.
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork, innovation, and process improvement.

Work Environment & Safety

The role requires adherence to company safety regulations and policies in a manufacturing environment.

  • Competitive pay structures.
  • PTO including vacation and sick leave.
  • Eight paid national holidays plus four floating holidays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • 401k retirement and savings program.
  • Paid parental leave for new parents.
  • Flexible and part-time work arrangements.
