Job description
Overview
Madison Pearl is collaborating with a Singaporean family office to fill the role of Contracts and Commercial Manager within their real estate development division located in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement, contract management, and commercial oversight across multiple real estate development projects, ensuring cost efficiency and safeguarding the company’s commercial interests.
- Design and implement procurement strategies, handle tender processes, assess suppliers, and negotiate contracts with consultants and contractors.
- Manage contract administration functions, encompassing claims, variations, assessments for extensions of time, payment certifications, and mitigation of commercial risks.
- Track project expenditures, budgets, cash flow, and commercial outcomes; provide precise forecasting, strict cost control, and recommendations for value engineering.
- Work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and finance departments to guarantee timely project completion, adherence to contracts, and sound commercial decisions.
- Generate executive-level commercial reports and dashboards to offer management insights with respect to contract outcomes, risks, claims, budgets, and strategic choices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of combined experience within construction or real estate development sectors.
- Strong knowledge and application of FIDIC and UAE-standard contract formats.
- Proven hands-on experience with payment certification processes and cash flow oversight.
- Excellent communication skills with the capacity to interact effectively with C-level executives.
