Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE) is a full subsidiary of Red Sea Global (RSG), tasked with delivering premier land and marine recreational experiences at The Red Sea and AMAALA locales. Under its distinct units—Galaxea (Diving & Marine Experiences), Akun (Adventure Experiences), and WAMA (Water Sports & Recreation)—RSSE blends luxury hospitality with adventure, environmental respect, and operational excellence. RSSE supports Vision 2030's aim to develop regenerative tourist destinations that safeguard and enhance nature while providing unique experiences.
Role Purpose
The Cluster Manager for Galaxea offers strategic and operational leadership over several dive centers, ensuring safe, efficient operations that are commercially successful and provide luxury guest experiences. This includes involvement from design and pre-opening phases to ongoing operations, collaborating closely with Senior Managers at each site. The role focuses on consistent operations, safety, financial results, team development, regulatory adherence, and sustainability aligned with Galaxea's high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple dive center sites to maintain consistent service quality, safety protocols, and operational excellence.
- Coach and manage Senior Managers, fostering performance and accountability.
- Track operational KPIs, launching improvement initiatives as needed.
- Ensure adherence to RSSE standards, SOPs, and international diving safety practices.
- Assist with planning, designing, commissioning, and operational set-up of upcoming dive locations.
- Coordinate with Development, Procurement, HR, Sustainability, and Marine teams to prepare new sites.
- Recruit and integrate operational teams effectively.
- Formulate operational procedures ensuring readiness before openings.
- Promote a proactive safety culture; comply with PADI standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct audits, risk checks, emergency drills, and investigations on incidents.
- Maintain emergency response and business continuity planning.
- Deliver exceptional luxury diving and snorkeling experiences, incorporating guest feedback for continuous enhancement.
- Support VIP events, media affairs, and resort-based activations, collaborating with resort teams for seamless guest experiences.
- Develop, mentor, and lead diverse teams, enhancing engagement, succession planning, and capability growth.
- Manage budgets, resource distribution, revenue, cost control, profitability, and asset usage across sites.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders including authorities and certification agencies.
- Champion marine conservation and sustainability in line with RSSE's regenerative tourism goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science, Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
- Certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or higher.
- At least 10 years’ experience in commercial diving or dive resort operations.
- Minimum 5 years in senior operational or multi-site leadership roles.
- Experience with luxury hospitality settings, pre-opening operations, and managing multicultural teams.
- Logged a minimum of 500 dives and certified at least 50 students.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Deep understanding of dive operations, safety management, risks, and compliance.
- Proven financial and budget management expertise.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead operational transitions and continuous improvements.
- Guest-focused with experience handling high-end clientele.
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluent English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
