About Fairmont The Norfolk

Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Manage IT operations across the cluster, maintaining strong relationships with Hotel General Managers, Executive Committees, Heads of Departments, and other key users.
- Oversee business planning and budgeting for IT-related expenses, ensuring alignment with company IT policies.
- Develop business cases to justify IT investment and expenditure decisions for approval processes.
- Provide regular updates on the hotel's IT status to Cluster General Manager and relevant senior management.
- Initiate and lead IT projects, providing strategic IT advice to the Cluster General Manager.
- Coordinate with Accor hardware partners, maintaining effective relations and escalating hardware-related issues as needed.
- Manage all hardware components including computers, servers, routers, switches, cables, PABX, monitors, POS devices, UPS, and other active devices.
- Ensure strict adherence to Accor IT policies and guidelines within the hotel environment.
- Guarantee that only original, licensed software compliant with IT management policies is used on hotel systems.
- Foster good relationships with software providers and escalate software issues appropriately.
- Control user access to software programs, restricting it to necessary job functions only.
- Design, implement, and sustain IT training programs in collaboration with the Learning & Development department, enhancing employees' IT competencies.
- Ensure hotel compliance with Accor IT Security Policies and Data Protection regulations.
- Oversee backup processes for user-generated data across general and personal systems to uphold data integrity and security.
- Maintain rigorous backup policies to achieve a high-security standard for IT systems.
Qualification and Competencies
- At least five years experience in a comparable IT managerial role, preferably within a luxury or five-star hotel setting.
- Strategic and results-oriented thinker with strong attention to process and detail.
- Effective team leader capable of inspiring and guiding staff toward revenue and operational goals.
- Excellent communication skills, positive influence, and strong teamwork capabilities.
- Exceptional listening skills with foresight to anticipate organizational needs.
- Proven ability to establish and sustain productive relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Decisive, composed under pressure, and adept at prioritizing multiple projects.
