Role Overview

The Clinical Trials Proposal Manager at PSI will oversee all stages of the proposal process, aiming to uphold and exceed our consistent win rate of 30%. This role collaborates with worldwide experts across Feasibility, Medical Affairs, Project Management, Clinical Operations, Budgeting, and Business Development to swiftly generate compelling proposals. The position is based onsite in Mississauga, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain realistic calendars for RFP activities, ensuring all contributors meet deadlines.
• Coordinate, lead, and document strategic meetings related to each RFP, including distributing minutes and action points.
• Create preliminary budgets by assessing client requirements and gathering detailed input from internal departments.
• Partner with budgeting teams to craft competitive budgets and source all necessary cost elements.
• Manage vendor RFP processes and secure vendor quotations.
• Compose targeted, client-focused proposals.
• Support preparation and participation in bid defense sessions.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all RFPs within Salesforce and PSI’s Clinical Trial Management Systems.

Candidate Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Proven expertise in managing comprehensive clinical trial proposals within a CRO setting.
• Excellent writing and editing capabilities coupled with strong analytical thinking.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Capacity to juggle multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
• History of maintaining high proposal win percentages.
• Innovative and adaptable approach when engaging potential clients.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
