Job Overview
Biofusion is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator in Los Angeles, CA to manage and support various clinical trial projects. The role involves overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with research protocols, and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth clinical trial execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in developing and implementing clinical operational strategies.
- Manage clinical trial logistics, monitor project timelines, and ensure deliverables are met.
- Collaborate with external vendors and coordinate communication between study teams and site staff.
- Lead and supervise clinical research projects, including protocol development, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior staff and researchers, ensuring adherence to ethical standards.
- Oversee patient recruitment, retention, and data management processes, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare data reports and maintain comprehensive study documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Nursing, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Relevant experience ranging from 1 to 5+ years in clinical operations, research management, data management, or trial coordination depending on the specific role within the team.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and clinical trial processes.
- Proficiency in statistical software and clinical data management tools is preferred for data management roles.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities for senior roles.
