Role Summary

The CRA role involves managing one to two clinical studies, allowing you to become an expert in clinical trial protocols with reasonable travel commitments that support a healthy work-life balance. Candidate Profile

  • Maintains composure and responsiveness during unexpected challenges.
  • Thoroughly prepares for site visits, meetings, and team updates, anticipating needs ahead of time.
  • Employs creative problem-solving methods to overcome obstacles.
  • Demonstrates keen attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Identifies risks within studies and suggests effective mitigation strategies.
  • Assumes responsibility for the quality and results of their work.
  • Skilled at resolving conflicts using established resolution techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and oversee clinical trials at investigative sites ensuring adherence to protocols, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate all activities necessary for study initiation and monitoring including investigator identification, regulatory submissions support, and conducting study visits.

Minimum Requirements

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field.
  • At least one year’s experience as a CRA in a CRO or pharmaceutical/biotech setting, or equivalent clinical research experience such as site management.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational capabilities with a collaborative team spirit.
  • Demonstrated client-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 50-60%, including overnight stays; international travel may be needed for senior roles.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • Experience in oncology, CAR-T therapies, or first-in-human phase III clinical trials.

Preferred Experience

  • Expertise in study start-up procedures.
  • Familiarity with medical device clinical trials.
