Client Operations Manager

About the Role

Avendra International is a global procurement company that specializes in smart sourcing, supplier management, and operational excellence. We are expanding in Ireland and seek a Client Operations Manager to lead our Global Procurement Organization (GPO) operations across the country. This position is based in Cork and requires travel within Ireland.

The Client Operations Manager is accountable for operational performance across Ireland, maintaining smooth workflows, accurate supplier and pricing management, and delivering high-quality client results. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and senior leadership to refine processes, oversee auditing, and implement measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily GPO operational activities throughout Ireland and serve as the primary operational contact.
• Manage team workflows, prioritize tasks, handle escalations, and ensure KPIs are met consistently.
• Supervise supplier onboarding procedures, product approval processes, and resolve pricing or system-related queries.
• Guarantee pricing data correctness, maintain reporting standards, and ensure timely delivery of output to clients.
• Create and review Purchasing Analysis Reports and assist with delivering client insight presentations.
• Take ownership of audit procedures, including workload prioritization, review of audit outputs, and enhancement of commercial results.
• Collaborate with Sales and Supply Chain to support supplier selection aligned with business strategies.
• Monitor team performance, supplier service-level agreements, and operational challenges to promote continual improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, procurement, or operations within fast-paced environments.
• Experience in leading teams or managing personnel.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, pricing strategies, and comprehensive operational workflows.
• Commercially focused with ability to interpret data and drive operational enhancements.
• Skilled in managing stakeholders including internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
• Holder of a full, clean, and valid Irish driving license.
• Eligible to work legally in Ireland.
