About the Role

Royal York Property Management, a prominent property management company overseeing numerous residential rentals across Ontario, seeks dependable and meticulous Cleaners to augment its cleaning workforce. The position involves various cleaning tasks including move-in, move-out, vacant unit turnovers, and routine housekeeping within occupied residences. Cleaners must independently travel to appointments, ensuring all properties are thoroughly cleaned in accordance with company protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute thorough move-in and move-out cleaning for residential rental units.
• Perform comprehensive turnover cleaning in vacant homes and apartments.
• Provide ongoing housekeeping services in currently occupied dwellings as required.
• Clean all essential areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, floors, and general surfaces.
• Address detail-specific cleaning such as baseboards, cabinet interiors, and appliance cleaning.
• Utilize a mobile app to receive assignments, follow instructions, navigate via GPS, upload photographs, and maintain job status updates.
• Conduct self-inspection of completed work to uphold company standards.
• Report any property damage, maintenance issues, or cleaning obstacles encountered.
• Use personal vehicle to travel between cleaning sites.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of paid, professional cleaning experience.
• Proficiency in performing both turnover and regular housekeeping cleaning tasks.
• Ownership of a dependable vehicle for travel and transporting cleaning materials.
• Possession of required personal cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Possess a suitable smartphone capable of operating a mobile work application, GPS navigation, photo capture, and job reporting.
• Comfort and experience cleaning detailed interior areas including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, baseboards, cabinets, and appliances.
• Ability to work autonomously and follow detailed cleaning procedures.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to comply with GPS-based appointment scheduling and arrival confirmations.
