About Team Global Express NZ
Team Global Express NZ offers end-to-end transport and freight forwarding services spanning from Kaitaia to Invercargill. We provide comprehensive logistics solutions to customers throughout New Zealand.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver at our Christchurch branch to support Metro deliveries using tail lifts and pallet jacks. This position operates Monday through Friday, starting approximately at 6 am, averaging 45 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Deliver and collect freight punctually and completely
- Handle and scan freight carefully to minimize damage
- Engage actively in safety protocols and compliance procedures
- Operate vehicles safely and within legal requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a clean and full New Zealand Class 2 driver’s license
- Hold valid Dangerous Goods (DG) and OSH Forklift certifications
- Demonstrate truck and trailer driving experience, particularly in New Zealand
- Exhibit strong customer service orientation
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
