Role Overview

We are looking to expand our dynamic Construction team within the Oil, Gas, and Chemicals Division by recruiting a knowledgeable Civil Site Engineer. Join a globally recognized EPC leader and contribute to impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement civil site activities aligned with approved drawings, project specifications, and timelines.
• Supervise daily site operations to ensure conformity with safety protocols, quality standards, and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and various project disciplines to facilitate smooth execution on site.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical specifications, and authorized procedures accurately.
• Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and environmental policies along with Permit-to-Work procedures and partake in routine safety inspections.
• Track construction progression by preparing daily and weekly reports, updating project leadership accordingly.
• Manage resources including workforce, materials, equipment, and tools to optimize site performance.
• Detect and resolve technical challenges on site by coordinating with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
• Support QA/QC activities and client inspections to assure conformity with quality requirements.
• Ensure punctual completion of assigned civil works and assist with project handover processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of practical experience in civil site execution, specializing in Oil & Gas or EPC construction projects.
• Proven track record of supervising civil site operations within related sectors.
• Experience liaising with subcontractors, clients, and cross-functional project teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project specifications, construction standards, HSE mandates, and Permit-to-Work systems.
• Familiarity with QA/QC protocols, inspections, and related project documentation.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical construction documents.
• Skilled in using MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English with professional proficiency.
