Civil Engineer / Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Civil Engineer to become a vital member of our team at LIAO HAI BUILDING CONTRACTING LLC, located in Dubai, UAE. This position focuses on overseeing the entire lifecycle of construction projects, particularly high-rise buildings, ensuring compliance with standards and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and supervision of construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Review and approve technical plans, project specifications, and cost estimations to guarantee accuracy and feasibility.
• Regularly perform site inspections to confirm that construction activities align with design criteria and safety requirements.
• Coordinate and manage interactions among contractors, subcontractors, and other involved parties to maintain project cohesion.
• Offer expert technical support and guidance to project teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Address and resolve any construction-related challenges or conflicts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track and report on project progress, ensuring deadlines and budget constraints are met.
• Conduct quality control checks and uphold strict adherence to established standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience working on high-rise building projects within the UAE.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Advanced proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office; AutoCAD expertise is essential.
• Demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple assignments successfully and prioritize effectively.
• High standards of professionalism, integrity, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to perform autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
