Chief Operating Officer

About the Role

Easy Signs Australia is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead its upcoming phase of operational expansion. This newly established executive leadership position offers a chance to define how the business operates, grows, and performs moving forward. As COO, you will oversee the entire scope of Production, Customer Experience, and Quality functions, managing senior managers and collaborating closely with Company Directors and the Executive Leadership Team to implement strategic initiatives into actionable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the performance and outcomes of Production, Customer Experience, and Quality departments.
• Convert corporate strategies into specific operational goals with measurable milestones.
• Take ownership of operational KPIs, reporting, and accountability structures.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, cost control, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, automation, and process optimization.
• Embed quality standards, customer satisfaction, and safety considerations into operational decision-making.
• Spot opportunities to improve workflows as the company continues to grow.
• Coordinate with the US leadership team to align practices and share best practices across Australian and US operations.
• Deliver transparent and commercially sound operational reports to Company Directors.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a senior operational leader capable of balancing strategic vision with detailed execution. The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex operations, preferably in manufacturing, production, or related fast-moving industries.
• Comprehensive understanding of how personnel, processes, performance metrics, quality, and customer experience interact.
• Proven aptitude in leading and mentoring senior management teams to build high performance.
• Strong commercial insight and financial expertise, including managing operational budgets and controlling cost drivers.
• Experience in developing key performance indicators and leveraging data to drive operational performance.
• Successful history of leading process improvement, automation, business transformation, or growth initiatives.
• Strong decision-making abilities and accountability for end results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to motivate and inspire others effectively.
