About the Role

M/s Baijnath Jewels Private Limited is seeking a skilled and reliable Chartered Accountant or Senior Accounts and Taxation Professional to join their Kanpur-based team. This position involves overseeing comprehensive accounting and tax-related functions to ensure seamless financial operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting processes and financial administration.
• Handle GST compliance, including return submissions, reconciliations, and managing notices.
• Ensure TDS compliances and timely filing of related returns.
• Oversee Income Tax compliance alongside strategic tax planning.
• Finalize books of account accurately and timely.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and management information system (MIS) reports.
• Coordinate various audits such as internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Manage banking activities, working capital, and prepare loan-related documentation.
• Administer payroll compliance and statutory filings associated with it.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant tax laws and financial regulatory requirements comprehensively.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred; however, the role is open to Senior Accountants with equivalent extensive experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting standards, and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and capable of independently managing the full accounting function.
