Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently process purchase transactions, including merchandise deactivation aligned with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) system.
• Promote the company’s sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity initiatives.
• Assist customers in bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and keeping the workspace clean.
• Manage register security by handling cash carefully, following all company policies, and remaining aware of the surroundings.
• Direct customers to a Customer Service Manager for services or transactions beyond the cashier's scope.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $16.90.
