Position Overview

As a Caregiver, you will support individuals in Prescott, Ontario, who are recovering from trauma such as motor vehicle accidents, facing complex medical conditions, or managing mental health challenges. Your duties will be varied to meet individual needs, including daily living assistance, safety monitoring during home or community activities, and provision of emotional and practical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Ensure client safety and engagement during enjoyable activities at home or in community settings.
• Perform tasks such as organization, meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, and provide emotional support.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates are dependable, well-organized, and capable of working autonomously. Care plans are personalized; flexibility and genuine compassion for client wellbeing are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
• Possession of a smartphone with a data plan.
• Completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check within the past six months.

Preferred Assets

• Post-secondary education in a related field (university or college).
• Valid “G” class driver’s license with access to a vehicle.

Work Schedule and Compensation

Scheduling is flexible and tailored according to client needs. Caregivers manage their availability and caseload autonomously. Pay ranges from $23 to $28 per hour.
