Role Overview
This position involves courteous and efficient pickup and delivery of packages along a designated route. The driver will verify that shipments comply with Federal Express Canada's service standards and perform related customer service duties to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prompt and courteous package pickups and deliveries on assigned routes.
- Inspect shipments to confirm adherence to FedEx Canada’s service features.
- Execute customer service functions connected to package delivery processes.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than two infractions or accidents in the past 24 months).
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and handle packages weighing as much as 150 pounds using appropriate equipment.
- Minimum of one year customer-focused business experience preferred.
- Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training meeting minimum standards.
- Basic understanding of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Capability to multitask, manage stress, and operate effectively in a high-pressure setting.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including holidays, as business demands require.

- This role is specifically for a domicile courier based in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
- The hourly wage is fixed at $22.60.
