Business Systems Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst for a 12-month contract position based in Toronto, Ontario. This role requires working onsite two days per week and focuses on leveraging data analytics to support business processes and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, manipulate, and develop workflows using Alteryx for data handling tasks.
• Utilize Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms (such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, WebFOCUS) to create reports and data visualizations.
• Write and analyze SQL queries involving joins and complex data operations.
• Support reporting, dashboard generation, and analytical projects to meet business needs.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, maintaining strong internal client relationships.
• Function within a business-oriented setting, focusing on bridging the gap between business requirements and data technology.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in roles such as Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst.
• Proficiency in Alteryx for data extraction and workflow development.
• Familiarity with Power BI or equivalent BI and reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and data analysis.
• Experience in engaging with business clients and supporting data-centric initiatives.

Additional Information

• Contract duration: 12 months.
• Work location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada with hybrid remote arrangements (2 days onsite per week).
• Compensation: $50 to $58 per hour.
