Role Overview

The Business Data Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert on Presidio’s Enterprise Licensing Agreement and software offerings. Working closely with Business Development Managers, Account Teams, and Inside Sales, this role supports the software sales cycle by delivering data-driven insights. The analyst will develop new methods to manage, utilize, and analyze various customer data sources to identify potential technology refresh opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction through accurate data management. This position is a foundational part of an emerging team and has prospects for growth into leadership roles as the function expands.

Core Responsibilities

• Generate Monthly MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) reports, analyzing asset allocation across business units and correcting misalignments based on validated data hierarchy.
• Advise on MACD activities and prepare deliverables for presentation and approval by clients.
• Establish and align business rules related to MACD and audits to optimize processes and minimize efforts for Presidio’s asset management teams.
• Identify and address data inconsistencies and newly introduced assets with every data refresh.
• Manage implementation of MACD cleanup processes according to customer feedback.
• Prepare and review detailed customer-facing analyses of outstanding MACD action items, highlighting both financial and non-financial impacts.
• Monitor ongoing data audits, drawing insights to improve the accuracy of install base information across datasets such as Collector, SNOW, FN, etc.
• Support Enterprise Agreement (EA) subscription tracking, manage true forward events to correct license accounting errors or notify customers about upcoming costs, and generate pertinent reports.
• Partner with Enterprise Agreement Specialists to offer actionable insights around license consumption and shifts in value for customers.
• Audit, verify, and align Cisco service contract data and characteristics from exports.
• Conduct audits comparing Collector data to asset management records, investigating discrepancies and assets uniquely found in Collector by liaising with original equipment manufacturers.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience, including military service.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analytics.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with Python programming for data analysis tasks.
• Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
