About Farfetch and the Role

The Business Assistant position provides essential administrative and organizational support to 3-4 Senior Leaders, involving diary coordination, travel arrangements, and project facilitation. This role suits proactive individuals with backgrounds in corporate, legal, or financial sectors who thrive in dynamic, confidential, and fast-paced contexts. Creativity, service orientation, and the ability to bring innovative ideas and best practices are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage calendars and correspondences for senior leadership, navigating global time zones and prioritizing urgent matters.
- Arrange comprehensive travel plans including tickets, accommodation, and itinerary preparation.
- Handle expense tracking, including receipt organization, invoice management, and purchase order administration.
- Coordinate and respond to meeting requests at all organizational levels.
- Prepare meeting agendas proactively before key sessions.
- Facilitate onboarding for new starters and direct reports under Senior Leaders.
- Support event planning efforts including conferences and team gatherings.
- Provide occasional assistance to the broader team by scheduling large team meetings and other tasks as required.
- Adhere to and promote compliance with all Farfetch company policies.
- Actively participate in the Business Assistant community, providing cover for fellow assistants as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least 2 to 3 years of experience as an Executive or Business Assistant supporting Senior Leaders, ideally within legal or finance environments.
- Proficient with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain composure and productivity in high-pressure, multitasking scenarios with strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-driven, positive attitude, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Adaptability and a flexible approach to work demands.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Motivated to achieve success and contribute passionately to organizational goals.
