Business Analytics Analyst

Overview

The role of Business Analytics Analyst is designed for emerging professionals who apply specialized knowledge to monitor, analyze, and evaluate data and processes within their area of expertise. The position involves identifying gaps in policies, interpreting data, and recommending actionable strategies. The analyst researches factual information, detects inconsistencies, defines business challenges, and suggests improvements to policies, procedures, or practices. This role requires integrating established industry knowledge with a developing understanding of related practices and works closely within the team and with other stakeholders to meet area objectives, having a direct but limited impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect operational data across various cross-functional teams to review historical business performance.
• Detect data trends and patterns, providing insightful recommendations to improve decision-making related to business planning, process enhancements, and solution evaluation.
• Advise on future strategies, development opportunities, and operational policy improvements.
• Engage in exploratory, confirmatory, and qualitative data analysis as appropriate.
• Convert data findings into consumer or customer behavior insights that support targeting and segmentation strategies; communicate these insights effectively to business stakeholders and leadership.
• Continuously seek to enhance processes and approaches by exploring new data sources, technologies, and analytical capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to build, implement, monitor, and refine decision-making strategies.
• Evaluate and manage business risks conscientiously, upholding the organization's integrity by complying with applicable laws, policies, and ethical standards, and transparently escalating any control concerns.

Qualifications

• Between zero and two years of relevant experience in business analytics or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
